Dr. Nasim Haque is Director of Community Health at the Wellesley Institute, an independent non-profit research and policy institute working to advance health equity through community-based research, community engagement, social innovation and policy development. Dr. Nasim Haque is a physician with a doctoral degree in public health from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She also holds a Master's Degree in tropical medicine from University of Queensland, Australia. Her focus in public health has been on reproductive epidemiology, survey methods, maternal and child health, population dynamics, and infectious diseases. She has experience working with the World Bank, the World Health Organization, bilateral agencies such as German Technical Corporation (GTZ), USAID, government funded health programs, and other NGOs.
