Researchers met with 10 individuals over the course of 7 months to explore their experiences of poverty and social inequality. All of the participants had either been or currently were homeless. They worked with researchers to present their experiences using photographs and narratives. A major accomplishment of the project was giving marginalized groups the opportunity to speak directly about their own experiences. Participants and researchers gained insight into arts-informed community based research.
