Healthy Access: Barriers to Accessing Prescription Medication and Suitable Medical Treatment

Researchers set out to identify the barriers facing homeless youth when accessing health care services and medication. Some of these barriers included lack of access to physicians, medication dispensing, safe storage for medications, and cyclical loss of OHIP and their identification cards. Researchers intend to build upon these challenges and make recommendations on how to address these concerns.
