- Waterloo Wellington LHIN evaluates proposals based on “equity in the provision of services to recognizable populations”
Year in Review (2007-08 Annual Report)
- The LHIN’s urgent priorities fund is a new funding investment that allows each LHIN to address key local priorities
- Priorities must improve the provisions of services (new or existing) and support activities that focus on improving access, equity, health outcomes, quality of care and efficiency
- WWLHIN was allocated $1.38 million in funding to support urgent priorities in local care – to improve access and equity in areas identified through planning as pressure areas
